CNLU launches MSc in cyber security, digital forensics
Patna: Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) has launched a two-year M Sc programme in cyber security and digital forensics (CSDF) from the 2026–28 academic session.Registrar S P Singh said the programme is designed to prepare students for over 21 career roles across four tracks — industry, judiciary, law enforcement and national security, and policy and governance. He said the university has signed MoUs with national and international institutions, including the Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) under MeitY, Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (CCoE), Data Security Council of India (DSCI), Bihar Police and the Bihar Institute of Correctional Administration. These partnerships will provide students exposure to real-world cybersecurity challenges and practitioner-led training.Singh added that CNLU has set up a state-of-the-art cyber security and digital forensics centre with a 60-seat high-end digital forensic lab for hands-on training.The full-time, on-campus course is open to graduates from all disciplines. General, BC, EBC and EWS candidates must have at least 55% marks, while SC/ST candidates require 50%. Total intake is 60 seats.Admission will be through the CNLU M.Sc Entrance Test on June 13, followed by an interview. Applications close on June 7.
